Nahar Eliaz is a 15-year-old Israeli cellist who has performed at Carnegie Hall and for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. A child prodigy who began cello lessons at the age of five, she has won numerous awards, including Vienna's and London's "Grand Prize Virtuoso" Competition. Eliaz will be accompanied by pianist Tal-Haim Samnon, who has performed as a soloist with many orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. He also played under Zubin Mehta at the age of 18, performing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 1.
Following the performance, there will be a complimentary reception hosted by July Galper.
